- everyone here who posted supportive posts for me, I cannot begin to tell you the strength it gave me
- my friends. the good ones. I've been really blessed in my life. I have people (including family) who have offered money, a place to stay, asking friends about jobs and requesting my resume to send along. today I went to lunch with a friend and said I was painting my living room as a realtor is coming on monday as I'm going to put my house up for sale. she said "I love to paint, I'll go run some errands and come over and help you" AND SHE DID. and she is coming back in the morning.
how amazing is that? and my son's
sitter (who is also now out of a job) has come by two days this week knowing my son would be devastated to not see her. and helped us clean up our yard. and
went to the paint store with us today. and her husband came by and replaced three lights - like installed new ones - for me today. AND they took him
tonight...till tomorrow whenever - I'm even invited to dinner there so I could get stuff done here.
-and the weather has been beautiful this week. like 70 yesterday. which has helped get the outside cleaned up and the inside.
- and between scrubbing the floors and cleaning and painting I'm watching Medium for the first time in two years.
edited to add: last week Asher and I went to the aviary. they had a free music class. I asked about them and they were 190 bucks...too rich for our blood...but then the lady told me to go onto a website where the city offers them for 30 bucks. I did and they started in a few days and there were two spots open. and an art class. during the day, during the week which I can never do while working. so we are now doing those every week...I'm really grateful for those. A doesn't really get the art class yet...but he loves loves loves the music. he did before we started but its a change from jingle bells over and over again interspersed with ABCs and twinkle star.
life is good.
what about you?
